DriveHUD 2 – HUD Restrictions on the WPN Network

Overview

The Winning Poker Network (WPN) has specific compliance requirements that restrict certain HUD (Heads-Up Display) features. To ensure DriveHUD 2 remains fully compatible and approved for use on WPN, several advanced features are automatically disabled whenever you run a HUD on this network.

This article explains which features are restricted and why they are not available while using DriveHUD 2 with WPN.

Restricted Features on WPN

When playing on WPN with the HUD enabled, the following DriveHUD 2 features are disabled:

  1. Hand Charts

    • Preflop hand charts cannot be displayed.

    • This ensures no real-time strategic recommendations are shown to players during live play.

  2. Population Reports

    • Aggregated statistical reports on the player pool are not available.

    • These reports could provide an unfair informational advantage if accessible during active gameplay.

  3. Heat Maps

    • Visual heat maps of opponent tendencies are disabled.

    • WPN’s rules prohibit any graphical tools that give deeper insight into hand distribution or player ranges in real time.

Why These Restrictions Exist

WPN’s policy is designed to maintain fair gameplay and protect recreational players. By limiting certain advanced HUD functions, the network reduces the risk of players gaining an excessive advantage through statistical overlays or preflop assistance tools.

DriveHUD 2 enforces these restrictions automatically when detecting play on WPN tables. You don’t need to make any manual adjustments; the features will simply be grayed out or unavailable while connected to WPN.

What Is Still Available

Even with these restrictions in place, DriveHUD 2’s HUD on WPN still provides a powerful set of features, including:

  • Real-time HUD stats for opponents (VPIP, PFR, 3-bet, etc.)

  • Player notes and tagging system

  • Session reports and hand histories

  • Standard HUD customization options

Summary

On the WPN network, DriveHUD 2 disables:

  • Hand charts

  • Population reports

  • Heat maps

These restrictions are required by WPN to comply with their fair play policies. All other HUD and tracking functions remain available to enhance your poker sessions without violating network rules.
