Hello,
I been looking at my replayer for hours at one hand, its showing I’m getting 1.4 : 1, on a call. I’m almost certain it should show 2.4 : 1. If someone would care to comment, great. The hand plays out as follows: 8 handed, dead SB, 8K/16K blinds 1600 ante. Folds around to CO who shoves 125,780, Btn folds. It’s now my turn in BB, with 16K BB posted, and 32,389 behind, so the CO’s effective shove is 48,389 right? The total pot now is 77,189, and to call would cost me my remaining stack of 32,389, correct? Therefore my odds to call would be ~ 2.4 : 1, not ~ 1.4 : 1, or am I missing something? Thanks if you took the time to read this, feel free to comment. I actually had J7s and folded this needing 29% equity. I understand it was a very bad fold, even though I thought the CO was tighter, and shoving strong in front of a loose ply on the Btn, who could afford the call.
