I just sent a message about this through DH, but thought I could go into more detail here.
Not sure if it’s related at all, but for awhile now I’ve been noticing that DH gets slower and slower when I change tabs or change filters or even when I first start it up, I’ll get to watch that “loading” box for 5+ minutes before DH finally finishes loading. In the past (like maybe 2 months ago), none of these processes took more than 10 or 15 seconds.
Noticing this, I decided 3 or 4 days ago to do that “stat rebuild” thing, and then followed that with the “vacuum database” thing. Before I ever played a session, I found a DH update was available, and went through that process also. Since the stat rebuild, vacuum database, and update, nothing has gotten any faster. But now, if I start a session, without restarting DH, then the HUD freezes, everything freezes actually. I can’t change filters, I can’t change tabs (from things like “Overall” to “Sessions” or “Stakes”). If I try to change tabs, or filters, it gets to the point where the graph updates, but then the actual stats never do, that “loading” box just stays there forever. It even has that “X” on it to cancel the loading process, but clicking the X does nothing at all.
The only thing that helps me is to leave all my tables, restart DH, and begin again. DH works perfectly fine, until I take a break, after which I’ll forget to restart DH, and go this whole process again. But just a few weeks ago, none of this ever happened. I could leave DH running for days on end without any such issues. It may also be worth mentioning that while DH is “frozen”, and won’t do anything, it is still importing hands as I play them. When I restart DH, all of my hand histories are always there.
I don’t know if something happened in the stat rebuild, the vacuuming, the update, or perhaps it’s something caused by an Ignition update, I don’t know, but it’s quite annoying to have to keep restarting DH 4 or 5 times per day and wait 5+ minutes each time for it load.06/12/2019 at 4:10 pm #6577DH SupportKeymaster
Are you system resources overall ok? Disk space, etc… ? I’ve not heard of anything like this, and that’s definitely not normal by any means. If you can send another message through the drivehud support icon and click to send your log we can take a look at what’s going on.
