    Hi,

Can the option to remove decimal places be added to the HUD? Whether someone performs an action 18.8% or 19.4% it really makes no difference. It would make the HUD take up less space and allow us to add more stats.

It would also be great if we could filter the HUD to show stats only for hands played with a certain # of people dealt into the hand. This is helpful for those of us who play both HU and 6max. Often times I will play an opponent HU and his stats are meaningless because I have hands on him at 6max, and vice versa.

Your first request is already possible. Click on the 2nd button to the right where it says Selected Stats in the bottom right corner of the HUD creator screen. From there find the stat you wish to edit and look for where it says Decimal Places. Change it to zero.

I definitely agree that your 2nd request is an important one and it has previously been requested by myself and others. It’s on their to-do list and I hope it’s implemented pretty soon.

Hey Chitown, thanks! A 2nd support rep got back to me and let me know that this was possible (I do wish you could do this for every stat at once instead having to do it individually for every stat, but at least you can do it).

Brian (support rep) got back to me again and this is actually something that is already possible. Here’s what he said “Yes, you need to add that filter to your HUD. Click on the HUD tab in Drivehud, select your hud you want to edit from the two drop down menus. Then click the settings icon at the bottom right side of the screen and set a filter for 6-max in the HUD so it will only show 6-max stats.

okay so i tested the 6max settings.

    i duplicated my main hud 5 times and made the settings for: 2max, 3max, 6max, and 2-3-4-5-6max, anddd 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 max.

just played 1 table while testing. ( when i switch huds it switches for all tables…)

testing results: (played about 40 hands during the testing switch back and forth between duplicated huds. )

#1) when i switch to my 2max duplicated hud everyones stats get reset but mine then it just collects info like it was a normal 6max game.

#2) when i switch to 3max it shows everyone around 40 hands played

#3) when i switch to 6max it shows same stats as 3max and everyone around 40 hands played again.

#4) then i switch back to 2max it once again it resets everyones hands at the table but mine. ( and this would do it to all the tables i am playing…..)

#5) just did updated test while writing this with 9max only setting on 6 max table. it reset everyones hud but mine like the 2max and then counted off like normal

i dont think these are the settings he was talking about

What I assumed the setting does is filter by hands played at that kind of table. So since the vast majority of sites do not have 3-5 max tables, those settings should yield no difference than the 6-max setting. The 2-max hands changing makes sense since those would actually be a type of game available, and if you have never played anyone at a HU table they wouldn’t have stats. I’m just speculating here as I took the day off from playing so did not test the setting. Tomorrow when I play if one of the players I play with at both game types is at any of my tables I’ll be able to know for sure if the setting works as intended.

I’ve had this same discussion with their support team several times and they always give that same answer. The request they misunderstand is for the HUD to be able to filter for stats based on the number of players in a hand. DriveHUD can’t do that as of yet. DriveHUD can only currently filter by the actual table size so that all of the hands played at a particular table size is included in the HUD stats you see on opponents. So if you play a lot of HU hands at a 9max table then the stats of you and your opponent are going to look way too loose when the table fills up and give you the wrong idea. This is especially true when it comes to the the BTN and BB specific stats, but also with several of the more general stats. The other position specific stats will still be fine. The difference between somebody opening the BTN 80% vs 40% of the time and the BB defending stats vs that is going to make several stats unreliable if you’re looking at the stats of somebody who regularly starts tables at 6max, 9max and other sizes of tables.
