How To Get Minecraft's Windows 10 Edition For Free! (Mojang News Post)   How can you get the Windows 10 edition of Minecraft for absolutely nothing! (Mojang News post)      It appears to be an emergency post, however there seems to be no redeem button on the Mojang account page right now. I assume it'll be available tomorrow after the launch.      Edit The redeem button has been activated for me and many others! The button will be available at 12:01 Wednesday morning Sweden time.      There's no redeem button. I can't wait until tomorrow, though!      For those who require Windows 10:      Manual installation is now available.      Direct Links      32bit exe      64bit exe      If you have an addon which forces https, you must open it in ie because the link is just http.      Instructions:      Find the software.      Run it and go through the steps to allow you to format the USB drive or disk for the installation.          Open the drive you have installed it on and run the installer.          It will be installed and activated automatically.          You can also save an ISO to use later, but you must perform an update in place first, so that your key is activated.      I have tested the beta and it worked perfectly.      I just downloaded it. It's amazing how well optimized the game is. My computer's fans don't bother to start and the CPU is almost completely idle all the time.      Are there gameplay differences?      Yes, it will run excellent on mobile devices so you can expect it to perform equally great on PC.      4 more responses      It was just released. Singleplayer LOL 22% CPU and 200mb There is some noticable mouse delay when looking around, otherwise looks great. Really wish minecraft servers could edit some additional settings, like AA and Mip-Mapping. Textures become mushy after a distance and the water glare is odd. Apart from that, I'm happy with the port team.      There is a slight delay when the mouse's movement However, the overall look is amazing      I've noticed the same issue mouse acceleration can be odd as well.      It's a rough port at this moment. It runs on C++, so it runs extremely smooth. It needs some work to be compatible with the PC audience. It's an app for mobile devices at the moment.      I apologize if this seems like a stupid question. But how did you get Windows 10? Did some people get Windows 10 earlier?
