Heat maps work based on the redder the color, the more often that hand (or data) has been used. So the redder on the color spectrum the hand range is, the more it’s been used, and the greener (cooler) it is the less it’s been used. Grey means it’s not been used at all. It’s meant as a quick in game visual to get you an idea on what range of hands your opponent is using, is it balanced or skewed towards particular ranges?
